2026 Walk for World Peace
Without Inner Peace, Outer Peace is Impossible
All funds raised during this walk will support KMC Indianapolis’s efforts to help people develop peaceful minds. By increasing our own inner peace, we can bring about world peace.
As our founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (Geshe-la) says,
“Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.”
A donation of any size contributes to KMC Indianapolis’s dedication to World Peace. The money raised from the Walk will go towards the International Temples Fund that not only provides financial support for KMC Indianapolis, but also supports dharma all over the world. One of KMC Indianapolis’s projects include preparing to move into a new space sometime in the next 1-3 years.
Your donation will also help people develop inner peace through learning Buddha’s teachings. These teachings create a ripple effect in our community; bringing peace to each person who hears them and then shares them with their friends, neighbors and world. Help create a positive ripple in your community.
Fundraising Goal to Support World Peace: $12,500
All donations up to $5,000 will be matched.
So as a community, we only need to collectively raise $7,500 together to meet our goal of $12,500.
